We have Netsmart news!  The Netsmart Go Live date is now in mid-May.  Through careful consideration and discussions with Netsmart, both implementation teams felt we could provide a better experience for you, the user, if we extended the date.   You might be asking, what does this mean to me?  Well, this means training should start in early April and you will be able to see how powerful this new software is.   Stay tuned for more specifics!

One of the reasons for the delay is that the forms we use every day are being created with YOU, the user, in mind.

One example of this is that the questions from the CANS and ANSA outcome measurement tools are being built into the assessment.  Having theses result right from the start can help to guide the needed treatment more rapidly.

If you have ever said to yourself, “I wish this form had this or could do that..”, please let your supervisor know.  Your supervisor can share your ideas with the SCCS Netsmart team so we can try to work your idea into the finalized product.  That is truly the best part of Netsmart, we can customize it to be ours.

Efficiency is something we have kept in mind throughout the set-up of Netsmart.  Have you ever thought or even said, “How many times do I have to fill out the same information?  I have to do it here on this form and then again on another form.”  Well, no more.  The forms are being created so if you put the information in once – that is it.  We are designing the forms so you only fill in new or updated information.  No more double entry!  Isn’t that exciting?

Do you ever check to see what your productivity is for the month or week?  How would you like that to be reported to you right from the EMR?  It can do that!  It can also tell you that you have not yet created a Recovery Plan or you have one coming due, or a note is missing for a specific service.   What do you think of that nifty feature?
